Located on the second and third floor of this popular Stowe Inn some feature rooms offer one or two brass double beds, others a queen size four poster, brass or canopy bed.

Each has private bath, remote control color cable television, video player, AM/FM clock radio, direct dial telephones, brew coffee maker, hair dryer, WIFI, individual climate controI and luxury amenity basket. On the same level as both Oxford and Cambridge, Plymouth suite has Westerly and Northern views. The lounge with its soaring cathedral ceiling opens out to a very large deck overlooking the gardens and the heated pool. In the distance is the llama farm and a quintessential Vermont maple sugar house. Clouds of steam can be seen pouring through the trees as the sap flows down for boiling into maple syrup during the season.

Tucked away at the rear of the Inn, York is very private. Enter into the Great Room with a high cathedral ceiling. For your convenience a kitchenette and refrigerator are well equipped.. The lounge is dominated by the huge brick chimney face, from floor to ceiling. The fireplace is the focal point for relaxing in the soft sofa and wing chair seating. The master bedroom offers a queen size bed whilst the second little bedroom has a twin bunkbed, just perfect for a young family. The pine floored bathroom features a whirlpool tub.

Enter the canopied door to a bright apartment size kitchenette and refrigerator. The spacious lounge with fireplace is a delightful space to relax or entertain friends.

Two bedrooms, the master with queen bed and country decor has views over the rear lawns of the Inne. The second bedroom has two twin beds. These are easily combined to make a king. The bathroom is well equipped and offers the comfort of a relaxing whirlpool tub.

A single flight of stairs welcomes you to the large private vine covered deck overlooking the gardens and swimming pool. The entrance to Canterbury cottage is here. Enter into the lounge, bright and sunny with many windows. A corner fireplace faced with granite stone sets the country casual theme with the surrounding comfortable furnishings. Bedrooms feature a queen size bed in the master with two twins easily combined to make a king in the second. The bathroom has a whirlpool tub and the usual comprehensive amenities. An apartment size kitchenette in the dining area provides all the conveniences for an extended stay.

Newcastle Suite

Newcastle is the largest of all the Bluff House Suites featuring two bedrooms each with queen size beds one with a four poster the other with a white ceramic queen. A spiral staircase leads to a loft area with two twin beds. A high cathedral ceiling supports a handsome brass chandelier of generous proportions. Views from here are to the South East over the village church spire (the highest in Vermont). Newcastle suite and Windsor suite may be connected if desired.

Windsor Suite

Windsor is the only suite that does not feature a deck or patio. Of its inspiring height we felt a little uncomfortable for guests with vertigo! Views from here are truly magnificent. Look ahead out to the fields and beyond through the Lamoille Valley for miles, to your right the ridgeline of the Worcester Mountains is most impressive. Just left is Mount Mansfield the highest mountain in Vermont. Sixty feet below, roofs of every size pitch and angle testify to the interesting inn they cover, they evoke images of a London in the time of Dickens. The Windsor suite can connect to Newcastle if desired..
